<p>This is a great, funny and gripping book. I found the book slow at first but after a while, I got into it because the story soon gets the reader involved. </p>
<p>It tells the story of Vianne, a young single mother who arrived in the French conservative village with her 6-year-old daughter.</p>

<p>The last book I read was &#8221;Witcher&#8221; by Andrzej Sapkowski. It is a marvellous, creepy, wise and funny story. One of the best things about the book is the way the author gets you to know Gerald from Rivia (the main character). Gerald is cynical and ironic in his attitude towards everyone but somehow you love him&hellip;</p>

I prefer when the book is character-driven rather than plot-driven. I like to follow the character development from their youth into adulthood and to see how they grow into a mature person.</p>
