We have known for a long time that distance learning for students should be promoted. During Corona, distance learning suddenly became a reality of necessity. The feedback afterwards revealed that most of the students definitely prefer class room teaching. At least half of them fell behind without the presence of a teacher.
The industry of autonomous cars is not there now where he thought it would be in 2020.
In general, Covid 19 has thrown a lot overboard this year. In America for example Corona contagions are getting out of hand despite the help of artificial intelligence. Much about health remains a mystery at the moment.
I recently talked about Cripto Currency with an experienced banker who has been working for 40 years in that field. She told me that investing in a Cripto Currency was highly risky and was like investing in a Casino game. She can’t see any change for that in the next future.
Agriculture: Robots need to be maintained otherwise they don’t work properly. And there I see the problem with Farmers in 3rd world countries. Laxity is often part of their mentality and therefore I seriously doubt that robots will be the solution.
I genuinely hope that solar power production will soon become a success story. But right now, there is still the problem of storing this energy.

I totally agree with you that Covid has accelerated the digital age (especially in work habits and distance learning) and I think a lot of teachers were (rightly so) unprepared for this.

I am extremely cautious regarding Cripto Currency and in fact don’t think I even really understand it! I agree 100% with what you say about robots regrading farmers and developing countries.
The technology (and the speed at which things change)it both fascinates and scares me to death!
