When I go trough this last 10 years I realise that a lot has changed in my life as well in my lifestyle. One important change has been managing to get a permanent contract in my job, that has meant a lot as Italian economical situation is still currently stucks in a nevending crisis with a huge rate of unemployment.
Thanks to my stable economical situation I’ve been able to focus my energies in doing whatever I like most, that is travelling, studying and dedicating more time to relationship such as friends and family.

As for my lifestyle, well something has changed something is still the same.
On the one hand I used to be lazy and to lie in in the weekends and still I am, I used to be a book eater and I still used to reading compulsively, on the other hand I used to have sweet tooth but now I have to be more careful with my diet, now I enjoy having long walks in the parks and attending art exhibitions, while I didn’t care about that at all in the past, I prefer meeting friends in quiet cafès and not anymore in trendy, noisy bars.

And aboveall I think that I feel more confident nowdays than 10 years ago, ageing has been making me more conscious of myself and of my priorities in life.
Well, ultimately, outgrowing some things and branching out others is a natural process in everyone’s life.

Thanks for sharing Chiara. I have a lot in common with you here, especially about feeling more confident – that’s a great part of getting older!

And yes, nobody can underestimate what a stable financial income and job security means…. that it permits you to do what you love is more than a lot of people can say, so I can totally get why it’s so important to you.

As for having a lie in – I’m jealous! I used to sleep for hours but now I just can’t! My body will wake up at the very very latest, 8.30am (but it is usually around 7!) even when I long for a big sleep, my body just won’t do it it anymore 😂

    Here are some corrections:

When I go through this last 10 years (ignore this if it was just a typo!)

…that has meant a lot as the Italian economical situation is still currently stucks in a never-ending crisis with a huge rate of unemployment.

Thanks to my stable economical situation I’ve been able to focus my energies in to focus my energy on ….

… to lie in in on the weekends and

I’m still used to reading compulsively,

on the other hand I used to have a sweet tooth

    nowadays than 10 years ago

Let me know if you have any questions!
