Unnamed boyfriend: I don’t wanna be the injured party, so I guess I’d vote for Wolves.Silence.
Paul: I see you guys.

So, you could phrase it like this:
“Bob, nudged him and gave him an encouraging blink” – it sounds neater. Like?
