I like UK tv series very much. My fav ones are Fleabag and Flowers, because they are creepy, loads of corrosive irony and truly British, bitter humour. Both are about disfunctional people and families. I love also crime tv series such as Broadchurch and Shetland, the last one set in the stunning backdrop of Shetland Islands. Usually I watch them on streaming in original language but with English subtitles on, otherwhise it’d be impossible for me to understand, too many slang, informal language and strong regional accents, great practice though.

I kind of binge watch, not more than 3 episode in one go though.

Love your description of British TV series @chiaramig ! As you know, I am also a fan (especially Fleabag and Shetland!). I think it’s a good idea to watch with subtitles- otherwise it could be stressful and not very relaxing.

(too much slang – slang is uncountable)
