    1) There’s poor sound quality and a lot of background noise so you haven’t heard what your colleague has just said.

Sorry, the sound quality is poor, could you please speak up?

2)You joined the meeting a few minutes late. Greet everyone and come up with an excuse why you’re late.

I’m sorry, I’m late. I haven’t heard the alarm clock this morning.

3)You’re the host of a meeting and you muted someone accidentally so nobody could hear them speaking when they answered some questions.

We can’t hear you Nick, you are on mute. I’ve accidentally muted you, could you repeat please?

4)You’re not sure if you can see the right screen. Someone is describing a

presentation, but you can see a browser window.

Are you sharing the right screen Nick? I can’t see the presentation

5)It seems that one of your colleagues might have got disconnected. His video is not moving. Ask him if everything is okay.

Are you ok Nick? Your video has just frozen

6)You’re the host of a meeting and there are three people trying to talk at the

same time. React and get the meeting back in order.

Sorry guys, You can’t talk at the same time. I’ll mute all of you. Please unmute only when nobody else is talking

7)You’re participating in an online meeting with 12 people and you constantly
hear some dog barking. It’s irritating and you can’t really hear what other
people say. Let people know about it and try to fix this issue.

There’s a bit of background noise and I can’t hear what you are talking about.

I think that a dog is barking, can the dog’s owner mute the mic?

8)You suggested scheduling another meeting, but nobody reacted. What do you say?

Ok, tomorrow I’ll send you an invite to our next meeting. I’ll be glad if everyone can partecipate

    Hi @Michele.Baldi

    You’ve done a good job 👍

Please have a look at my feedback:

    2) I’m sorry, I’m late. ❌ I haven’t heard the alarm clock this morning.

Here you have to use the past simple because you stipulate the time in the past this happened

I’m sorry, I’m late. I didn’t hear the alarm clock this morning.

(You can review the past simple in the grammar course in the lower intermediate section)

    5) Are you ok Nick? Your video has just frozen

This is correct, but perhaps it would be more common to say: Everything ok Nick?

    8) spelling (probably just a typo!) partecipate > participate

Let me know if you have any questions or need anything clarified 👍

… and if you have time, try to do the speaking task too!
