    1) There’s poor sound quality and a lot of background noise so you haven’t heard what your colleague has just said.

Sorry, there’s a lot of background noise and the quality of the sound is poor, could you please speak up?

    2) You joined the meeting a few minutes late. Greet everyone and come up with an excuse why you’re late.

Sorry guys, I’m late, today there’s a lot of traffic between my bedroom and my desk. Could someone repeats what you have discussed about till now?

    3) You’re the host of a meeting and you muted someone accidentally so nobody could hear them speaking when they answered some questions.

Sorry Tom, you are on mute, I’ve accidentally muted you, my fault. Can you repeat that, please?

    4) You’re not sure if you can see the right screen. Someone is describing a presentation, but you can see a browser window.

Sorry Tom, are you sharing the right screen? I’m seeing something that is not the one that you are describing.

    5) It seems that one of your colleagues might have got disconnected. His video is not moving. Ask him if everything is okay.

Sorry Tom, your video has just frozen, please try to share it again.

    6) You’re the host of a meeting and there are three people trying to talk at the same time. React and get the meeting back in order.

Sorry guys, you’re talking all at the same time, I’ll mute all of you. Please unmute only when you want to say something and wait till you colleague stop talking. Thank you .

    7) You’re participating in an online meeting with 12 people and you constantly hear some dog barking. It’s irritating and you can’t really hear what other people say. Let people know about it and try to fix this issue.

Sorry guys, there is a dog that are barking and I can’t hear what you are talking about. Please, the dog’s owner has to mute the mic and torn it on when the dog will be quiet. Thank you.

    8) You suggested scheduling another meeting, but nobody reacted. What do you say?

Sorry guys, I know that you aren’t very happy to schedule another meeting, but there’re a lot of things to discuss about. Please, feel free to decline my invitation if you’re already busy.

    Hi @Mattia.Rosi

    This is well done.

Please have a look at feedback

    1) you could make this even more natural by saying sound quality:

Sorry, there’s a lot of background noise and the sound quality is poor, could you please speak up?

    2) Brilliant! I too often find a lot of traffic from my sofa to my desk 😂

I suggest: Could someone run through what’s been discussed so far?

    7) Sorry guys, there is a dog that IS barking and I can’t hear what you are talking about. Please, the dog’s owner has to mute the mic and TURN it on when the dog IS be quiet. Thank you.

    8) the verb discuss doesn’t need a preposition

Let me know if you have any questions or need anything clarified 🙌 and if you have time, try to do the speaking task too
