    Even if I do not watch TV at all, I am very passionate about TV shows and, since there exist so many genres, I find really difficult to believe that someone does not love at least one of them.

    In the years my preferences are changed: if some years ago I craved particularly for spy stories, right now I find them repetitive. Excluding them, I am omnivorous and appreciate practically every kind, from an historic one as ‘Vikings’ to an insane teen-drama like ‘Insatiable’ and also animated series as ‘The dragon prince’ or ‘Rick and Morty’.

    Among my all times favourites there are:

    – ‘Boris’, an Italian underestimated show that tells about the life on the set of one of the several Italian soap operas;

    – ‘Black Sails’, a show about pirates that mixed up real-existed characters and fictional ones, from ‘The treasure island’ by Stevenson;

    – ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’, a musical series that starts appearing an idiotic rom-com, but, as the story develops, it becomes a deep portrait about mental health and social pressures.

    – ‘Penny Dreadful’, a creepy story about demons, vampires and possessions in the Victorian London.

    It clearly appears by my list that, in general, Italian shows are not my cup of tea. It is mostly true because Italian productions are almost always soaps, among the few exceptions the already named ‘Boris’, ‘Gomorra’ and ‘The brilliant friend’.

    Watching a English show, I usually set English language and English subtitles, the only exceptions are the animated series, because I think Italian dubbing is better, even if I have absolutely no proofs about it. Another habit I have, after every episode, is to search for opinions and memes on “TV show”, an application where you can comment the episodes and express preference on the characters.

    I must ashamedly admit that I binge watched very often, and sometimes I still do it, even if I have corrected my behaviour. Usually I did it after dinner, so I kept watching whatever I was binging until I fall asleep. It was a terrible habit, since, in this way, I went to sleep very late and waking up in the morning was terrible. Despite I have been able to partially correct my behaviour, I cannot avoid doing it when a show is particularly addictive. The last time I have done it, it has been with ‘The haunting of Bly Manor’ a couple of weeks ago. What a difficult wake up the next day!

    Thank you @Lu_Corde that was entertaining!

    (I haven’t seen Boris – I’ll need to check it out!)

    Have a look at the feedback below.

    >1 it would sound more natural like this: since so many genres exist, …

    >2 there is a missing word. Can you get it?

    >3, 4 and 5 the verb tense is wrong. Can you try and fix it?

    Let me know if you have any questions about the feedback!

    Good job πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

      Thank you for the feedback, it is very clear!

      About the corrections:

      2) It is necessary add a ‘it’: I find IT really…

      3) The correct form is ‘have’ not ‘are’

      4) Since I am talking about a past action I am pretty sure that the tense should be ‘felt asleep’

      5) In this case I think I should have used past simple, so ‘The last time I DID it, it WAS with…’

      Am I right?

      P.S. : If you live in Italy and know Italian culture, you will definitely appreciate Boris. If you Google it, you will also find also the first five or six episodes with English subtitles.
