I get roped into a friend hen party organization, but I really don’t know how to deal with it. I’m trying to tap into online tutorial to come up with some brilliant idea, but I’m feeling like I’m sucked into weird videos being in over my head in this organization and no clue to sort it out.

My friend is asking me to clue her in about the party and I’m at the crossroads: to tell her I can’t organize it anymore and get her shirty or carry on and take the risk that the party go belly up because of my bad management. Eventually I think I’m going to give up, I know that I’m dropping a bomb on her, but indeed I’m the injured party after all, I hate this kind of party actually!

Morning @chiaramig Wow! This is fabulous! …..and also rather amusing 😂

Excellent work, I’m wondering if that took quite a lot of time?!

Just a few things to iron out, but I’m very impressed 😍

Thank you Kerin, actually it didn’t take me much time, it just came out quickly.

      I just need a clarification:

      “sucked
      into weird videos <s>being</s>
that are in over my head in this organization”

I can’t really get this correction. What I wanted to express through this sentence was that I was in over my head in the organization of the party, did it mean the same according to this correction?

That’s good if it came out quickly. It sounds very natural.

Okay, I’m not sure if I totally understand what you are getting at, but I think it’s this. Let’s try:

I’m feeling like I’m getting sucked into weird videos because I’m in over my head in this ….

    Is that it?

(In my correction, the meaning is that the video content is what is ‘in over your head’, not the organisation.)
