Well, it depends sometimes I feel like craving for restless changes in my life and I put a lot of effort to figure out how to make them possible, hence every possible change is very welcome.
Sometimes I feel really happy and content with my daily grind, though and any change, even the faint one, makes me miserable and grumpy.

I think, that people resist change because they are scared of the unknown. Everything that is diverse and unusual is seen as awkward and can make people feel uneasy and not insecure.

Yes, I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. It can totally depend on our mood and external circumstances, and fear is a huge deterrent. i know this well!

Notes: lovely vocab in here Chiara, well done.
    – I feel like craving for restless changes – this is very nice. We can also use this idiom: Sometimes I get itchy feet
    – to put a lot of effort INTO something
    – daily grind – great vocab!

    Thanks Kerin.
I’ve just realised I wrote “not insecure” but I meant “insecure” the “not” was not supposed to be there.

Ah sorry Kerin just a doubt that comes to my mind right now:
    – to put a lot of effort INTO + infinitive or + -ing form?

    This is a good question:

    to PUT effort into something.
    or
to PUT effort into DOING something – so you use the gerund.

    HOWEVER!!!

MAKE an effort TO DO something (Infinitive) when you mean you tried really hard.

ps. did you check the comments on your other post too? Just ask if you have any questions 🙂
