Company meeting clarification question
So, to me four words were unclear: biscuits, nudge, furloughed and sack
Since some of them had an unclear pronunciation I would go over them with questions like these
Sorry Andrew, I donāt know the expression āsackā it, would you mind explaining it to me?
I have some trouble following, did you said biscuits?
Sorry Andrew, could you spell it out? I am not catching the word furloughed

These are good clarification questions.

Could it be āfor meā? Dunno why but it felt natural to just type āto meā (my achilleās heel is that I am used to listening and writing and I go by āwhat feels naturalā from time to time š )

It is ‘for me‘! Correct!
I think the way to be fluent is to do exactly that- just go with what feels natural. (Fluent doesn’t mean correct in this case! It means ‘communicative’)
Of course, if nobody tells you you are making a mistake, then you keep repeating that mistake (believe me – my achilles’ heel in Italian is prepositions. I tend to translate from English and I know it’s wrong to do that, but unless someone tells me the correct preposition I never learn!)
