The last ten years have been full of changes. I changed job… a few times, I changed city… more than once.
But the most significant change, I think it’s changing lifestyle and the things I like and I don’t like doing.
Changing job has always been an exciting moment but it’s becoming more challenging and a little stressful.
Many of my old habits have also changed, as much as I enjoyed a good night out partying with my friends and wife few years ago, now I still like to party but I don’t like waking up with a hangover the morning after. In Italian I would say I like ‘la botte piena e la moglie ubriaca’. Now when I go out at night I usually have just one or two glasses of nice wine and I try not to eat too much. The bottle of chewable Citrosodina that I carry with me when I travel, is another example of these new, more adult-like, habits. The positive thing is that my wife has always been with me throughout all these changes and I think we changed together and more or less in the same manner and I believe we enjoyed changing together.

Thanks for that Enri, it seems you have a positive view of the changes over the last ten years (and I concur that your wife has enjoyed changing together!😉)

A little grammar note: But the most significant change, I think it’s changing lifestyle and the things I like and I don’t like doing.
Here you need to use the present perfect continuous to show that you are talking about a period of time that started in the past, but continues into the present: But the most significant change, I think has been changing lifestyle and the things I like and I don’t like doing.

Vocab: I try not to eat too much. Do you mean: I try not to overeat? See the difference?
