Dear Koryne,
Thank you for your invitation at your birthday. It is truly an honor to be invited to this significant moment of your life.
Unfortunately, my husband offered me a trip to Italy, one of my checklist countries to visit. I have for so long wished to attend the famous Venice carnival!
Of course, I will send you a birthday gift and owe you a date as soon as I am back! Meanwhile, have a great moment with your loved ones and enjoy your day.
