In 2019 Forbes Magazine published the article “Made in Italy”: What Is Behind The Worldwide Famous Label?” in which the author reports some misconducts of the distinguished brand.

Made in Italy is considered a worldwide brand, synonym of quality, authenticity and style. Despite being threatened by several international economic crisis and the increasingly low-priced goods coming from Asian economies, Italy managed to remain as the first exporter within European countries, attracting with brands such as Gucci and Prada, clients from all over the world.

The continuous search of profit maximization has led some companies to relocate their production in more dynamic markets, with cheaper labor costs. But since the “Made in Italy” brand is only valid for inland products, more and more companies decided to keep production locally but employing cheap immigrant work-force, many times under deplorable work conditions.

To conclude, there is no doubt Italian enterprises have done a great job building a strong and desired brand all over the world, but these luxurious products don´t match the reprehensible conditions of manufacturing.

Hi Maria, this is summarised very well.

✅ you used your own words

✅ you identified the main idea

✅ you found relevant ideas & omitted irrelevant details

✅ you kept the meaning the same

    ✅ you used attributive tags

✅ you kept your opinion out of it

    Minimal corrections to make:

Made in Italy is considered a worldwide brand, 👉a synonym of quality, authenticity and style. Despite being threatened by several international economic crisis and the increasingly low-priced goods coming from Asian economies, Italy ❗️has managed to remain ❌as the first exporter within European countries, attracting with brands such as Gucci and Prada, clients from all over the world.👉 word order makes this phrase a bit complicated.

❗️I would use the present perfect here instead of the past simple. Why do you think that would be better?
