Some thoughts about TV and its current role
Role of television differs from country to country depending on maturity of the society, its willingness to obtain valuable insights and ability to critically scan and analyze the data streams.
On the one hand, TV is a comprehensive resource of analytical and educational information, fount of cultural and historical facts or events as well as diverse entertainment platform for general audience. That’s why TV can be considered a wonderful invention of the mankind.
On the other hand, TV is a powerful tool to build up and manage public sentiments and opinions and it can be used for different purposes (not always positive ones). Viktor Pelevin, one of the Russian writers, used to say that TV set is a remote control of any television viewer.
In my opinion, every person makes his/her own choice and create his/her own “TV universe” to match one’s image and taste. Indeed, up-to-date global TV technology offers a wide range of products and programs to meet any needs and demands.
To tell the truth, I am quite a fussy TV viewer watching Euronews to be kept up-to-date of the latest all over the world news and choosing national TV channels to watch latest releases of the Russian movies.
Suffering from lack of time I am not a fan of binge watching, however sometimes I watch foreign TV series (in original language with subtitles) in Internet for educational purposes mostly.

You have used some rich vocabulary indeed and your prepositions agreement is spot on 👍 Well done. I also like your structure and fluidity 👏
We have a problem with articles – I’m not sure why, but this month everyone is having trouble with them (which means I have to do a lesson on that for sure!)
