The world’s english mania
I do agree in the fact that this is a mania. But I also think that English gives you more global opportunities since a large amount of population has a good understanding of this language.
However, I do not see eye to eye with the statatement that english is washing away other lenguages, In my opinion, provided that lots of people know a concrete language, global communication would be at ease.
Additionally, while people endure using their native language in their day to day communication, our native languages will survive without any doubt.
Considering the abovementioned, I personally reckon that English is becoming the language of problem solving indeed because we all really appreciate it as a lingua franca.
Anyhow, it would be not even imaginable such a bizarre image of a crowd repeating sounds and structures in our countries, where we are used to learning in small groups or even on our own. -
